Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar is an American-born British sitarist as well as a music producer. She is the youngest female and also the first woman to receive the British House of Commons shield. Anoushka is the emerging star of Indian sitar. She is a student as well as daughter of the famous Ravi Shankar. Born in London She spent her early years of her life moving between London as well as New Delhi. She gave her debut performance at New Delhi at the tender 13 years old. She then moved into Encinitas CA, where she earned the High School diploma with honors in 1999. Her career as a performer and recorder is impressive, despite her age.
